                        (4) (U)    Single item manager for Class VIIIA supplies
               in the AOR.

                        (5) (U)    Establish preventive medicine programs as
               described in para  1 (7). In addition provide aerial spray for
               insects (vector) control within deployed capabilities and
               coordinate requirements beyond these capabilities with CENTAF.

                        (6) (U) Provide veterinary support to all L:.S. Forces
               to include port facilities.

                        (7) (U) Provide dental support for all ARCENT EAC
               forces.

                        (8) (U) Theater manager for ARCENT blood program.

                        (1) (U) Assume command and control of units IAW ..k,\NEX
               A, (TASK ORGANIZATION).

                        (2) 't"    Provide area medical support to units in k'IC
               Dhahran as shown in ANNEX - , (OVERLAY).

                        (3) (U) Upon closure to the AOR, act as the senior
               medical command and control organization for all EAC units shown
               in ANNEX A. Release hosted subordinate units to parent units as
               shown in ANNEX A, as parent units become operational.

                        (4) -(-@4 Sponsorship unit for all EAC medical units
               arriving at POD's in the Dhahran vicinity.

                        (5) (U) Provide emergency medical assistance to other
               U.S. nationals in the AOR and to local nationals within
               capabilities, provided such assistance does not interfere with
               the military mission.

                        (6) (U) Be responsible for medical care and treatment
               of civilians and Enemy Prisoners of War (EPW) detained or
               captured by U.S. Forces. Care and treatment provided these
               individuals will be consistent with the provisions of the Geneva
               Convention.

                        (7) -@&) Provide aeromedical evacuation support to the
               hospital ships USNS Comfort and USNS Mercy with a minimum of 12
               aeromedical aircraft.
