CHRISTMAS SPIRIT HITS SECURITY POLICE FLIGHT WITH A BANG!
Our unit's Security Police Flight delved into the spirit at the holidays this past Christmas
with the enthusiasm at Santa Claus. This year many gifts were donated and collected,
by the Security Police for the benefit and use of patients of Lebanon Veterans Hospital.
These gifts included comfort items such as cards, board games and toilet articles. Those
who have donated to the Christmas program include 193rd personnel as well as It -
Civil Air Patrol.

The Veterans Hospital has approximately 650 patients, both men and women with ages
ranging from 20 96. Most patients have been involved with World War I, 11 and Viet
Nam. The facilities of the hospital range from an indoor swimming pool to a miniature
golf course. Many patients enjoyed the visit of several Security Police members and
appreciated their thoughtfulness. Special thanks goes to Sgt. Kaiser and SSgt. Warsavage
for their commitment to the program.

ADDITIONAL GROUP TERM LIFE INSURANCE AVAILABLE
In Nov. 1990 the Pennsylvania Insurance Department approved issuance of a new group
term life insurance program for all members of the Pennsylvania and Air National Guard.
This is a policy you may enroll in, in addition to the Serviceman Group Life insurance
you may already be enrolled in with the unit. The Pennsylvania National Guard Associa-
tions (officer and enlisted) will administer this program for the benefit of all Pennsylvania
Guard soldiers and airmen. Guard members do not have to be members of the officers
or enlisted associations to participate in this program.

This policy is unique in that all Guard members are entitled to $250 of life insurance
at no cost to the member. Airmen will be offered the opportunity to purchase an addi-
tional coverage up to $50,000 on the member and $5,000 on spouses and dependents.
The coverage continues up to age 65 and contains no exclusions for deaths caused
by war, suicide. aviation or hazardous duty. The policy is underwritten by the American
Life and Casualty Insurance Co. and you may use payroll deduction to pay for it. For
