1. PERSONNEL DIVISION: 
 
	a. CHIEF,CBPO. 
 
		(l) CBPOs world-wide, are limited in updating data systems effective 22 Jan 
91. Can now update items pertaining to Desert Storm/Shield, strength accounting, 
and monetary entitlements (75% of our usual data). Also our E-mail system (CRTs), work 
ing pretty well instead of routine messages. 
 
	b. PERSONNEL ASSISTANCE. 
 
		(1) PERSONAL AFFAIRS: 
 
			(a) Senior Staff Training for Casualty Notification Officers will be  
conducted on 4 Feb 91 at 0900. 
 
			(b) Wing policy letter on wear of authorized headgear with BDUs was 
forwarded to Wg/CC on 30 Jan 91. (Authorizes MAC ALCE headgear.) 
 
			(c) Publicity forthcoming on unauthorized wear of the Norwegian sweater 
within the next week. 
 
		(2) INTRO: 
 
			(a) We are having problems with new SP personnel missing their INTRO  
required appointments due to increased duty requirements. 
 
		(3) CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE: Per HQ AFMPC guidance we can only update dependent 
data; AF forms 90, 391, and 392 for personnel entering the assignment cycle (i.e. 12 
months from DEROS); and joint spouse assignment data. 
 
	c. PERSONNEL UTILIZATION 
 
		(1) CLASSIFICATION AND TRAINING: 
 
			(a) Due to current events, all TDY departures must be approved by each  
DCS before we can allow members to depart TDY. All TDYs must be mission directed 
or considered to be in the best interest of the AF. 
 
			(b) NCOLS class 91D (1 Feb - 8 Mar) was canceled. (Desert Shield)
