Desert Storm How Goes It Report (4 - 8 Feb 91)

406 TFTW/CC

1. PERSONNEL DIVISION:

	a. CHIEF, CBPO.

		1) [(b)(6)]

Once we receive the AFMPC/USAFE instructions,
we'll provide a SSS or talker to CSG/CC and TFTW/CV/CC on this matter; this seems to
be a USAFE-wide problem in view of Desert Storm.

	b. PERSONNEL ASSISTANCE.

		(1) PERSONAL AFFAIRS:

			(a) Wing policy letter on wear of authorized headgear with BDUs was
published 5 Feb 91. Includes exception for ALCE people.
[(b)(6)]

		(2) INTRO: We worked out a temporary agreement with all but one of our OPRs
to solve the problem with scheduling inbound SPs. Our only problem is currently with
the folks at Safety. However, we are attempting to resolve that problem.

	c. PERSONNEL UTILIZATION.

		(1) OUTBOUND ASSIGNMENTS:

			(a) We received most of the CONUS requirements (available bases) for
SNCOs departing in Jun and Jul 91. This indicates that the assignment cycle for
Jun/Jul has begun. We anticipate receiving assignments o/a 15 Mar 91.

		(2) EMPLOYMENT AND READINESS UNIT:

			(a) DESERT SHIELD/STORM: Deployment status information now being pro
vided as changes occur. Last update was o/a 6 Feb 91 (slides).
