TFW/CC approved the following as a result of the briefing: a. Giant Voice: (1) The purchase of this system is postponed in order to fund higher priority projects. CLOSED. (2) As a result of the discussion about the need for a Giant Voice, the Working Group was tasked to develop an ALL CLEAR siren signal to alert the base populace quickly. This will require coordination with the HN as they have adopted our alarm signal system. OPEN, OPR: ABOWG, ECD: 27 NOV. b. Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS)/ Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) computers: $20K to fund cable purchase. CLOSED. c. WOC/SRC: Cost for the cable ($50-$80K) should be shared between the US and HN to include purchase of a switchboard. TFW/CC will discuss this matter with the HN. OPEN, ECD: 27 NOV. d. Based on the discussion about choke points, a plan to address requirements for redundancy and improve survivability must be developed. OPEN, OPR: SC, ECD: 27 NOV. 3. INFO BRIEF: Chemical Warfare Defense Equipment Update (AO). The results of the base wide inventory were positive. All personnel have the required personal protection equipment. RM has ensured that the 10 percent oversupply is ordered. CSG has reported these shortages to CENTAF through the ABO Sitrep. Regarding antidote distribution, AO advised that DCS reps will be working with SG to receive the antidotes. Units are responsible for storing and distributing antidotes. Antidote distribution to personnel will occur only at the direction of the TFW/CC. SG added that none of the backordered antidotes had arrived. A new antidote called Kana will replace the atropine. There's no delivery information to the bases available yet. CLOSED. 4. REVIEW OF ACTION ITEMS: *a. Alarm/MOPP/Threatcon Information Boards: Workorder is going to CSG/CC for prioritization and action by DE this week. HN approval is required as the HN has adopted our alarm system and the boards will reflect the conditions in both English and Arabic.
