This has been a serious problem that has knocked out many of our sorties the past three days. JAN 21: DAY 5 - The first go was reduced from 48 to 24 due to lack of tanker support. We launched 23 out of 24. A/C 1144 had an AB No Light. - Reports are that the weather over Iraq is now clearing. Now we can get this show on the road and make up for lost time. - The Patriot missile shot down 9 out of 10 SCUD's that were shot at Riyadh. - The second go was again fragged with Mk 84's. We launched 24. All came back with reports of a highly successful mission. Spirits are back up as the weather is clearing and we are back on schedule for targets. - The Iragi's are continuing their attacks against Saudi for the second night.
