			WEATHER THRESHOLDS - DESERT STORM  

1. The weather thresholds for operational use and briefing purposes are listed below. HQ CENTCOM thresholds are those used for preparation of the briefing given to the Gen Schwartzkopf (CINCCENT) and his staff. CENTAF thresholds listed are the primarily operational thresholds. ARCENT thresholds are those used for the daily briefing to the ARCENT commander and staff. Unless otherwise noted, values are ceiling/visibility in feet and miles.For instance, 10,000 feet/5 is 10,000 foot foot ceilings/S miles visibility. The symbol <= means less than or equal to, >= is greater than or equal to.
