DISCUSSION: A stay at home medical force Is needed to support remaining ARC personnel. Training still needs to be accomplished at the home station, full time technicians are needed. RECOMMENDATION: Stay-at-home medical support should be available for all non- activated ARC units. ACTIONS REQUIRED: AFRES and ANG must develop a stay-at-home UTC that Is consistent throughout. ACTIONS COMPLETED: Through restructure, the Guard and Reserves will Include a stay at home force. UTC retirement Is In progress. STATUS: Open Anticipate closure by end FY 93 with full implementation of new UTCs by 1 Jan 94
