          TITLE: Contacting Reservists for Call-up and Mobilization
         
          OBSERVATION: Many IMAs, IRR, and retired regular members
          had unlisted telephone numbers, no telephone listing, or
          bad addresses.
         
          DISCUSSION: Unlisted telephone numbers were a real problem
          when we tried to notify IMA, IRR, or retired regular
          members to report. Telephone numbers, whether listed or
          not, should be available to HQ ARPC/SG for mobilization
          notification. Bad addresses were also a real problem.
          Many delays in reporting could have been avoided if proper
          addresses were in the system.
         
          LESSONS LEARNED: Unlisted telephone numbers and bad
          addresses should not be tolerated.
         
         RECOMMENDED ACTIONS: SG should be notified of all
         telephone number changes for IMAs and more emphasis should
         be placed on updating addresses on the survey for IRR and
         retired members. Individuals should be held accountable
         for proper address and telephone information. SG must
         develop procedures to track this information for all
         Reserve medical resources.
