           0558 JSTARS reported to be in the west with 18 Corps for
           another hour.
           
           0604 Col Harr said that marines were basically walking
           through their tasking with EPW collection being the only thing
           that had thus far slowed them down.

                         Our Intel said that they were not aware of this
           event but would look into it.
           
                0612 Reports that EPWs have no chemical warfare gear.
                
           BCE information- amphibious unit projected to display (show
           of force) to force the enemy to act.
           
           Apparently super RUMINT - BCE Maj Spain, VII Corps said
           that two of the six guard divisions had moved to face off against
           VII Corps. Supposedly they've been there, and we've known of
           their presence for some time.

           along the way
           -- US troops 18 Corps beyond first day goals picked up entire
           battalion
           -- DIA noted that AL Hussein (medium range) scud was chemically
           capable
           -- MARCENT engaged 120 tanks killed 50 or 60 of them with air
           support assistance
           -- captured 14 ID commanding general
           -- did all this with only 1 KIA and 9 wounded

           -- USS Wisconsin had to stop artillery shelling at 200 rounds
           because of rapid advance of friendly troops
           -- Total sorties flown 3,053
           -- Tank kills: A-10=36, F-15=54, F-16=6
           -- One JSTARS out till 26th for engine repair
           -- Moved FSCL back a little bit to allow larger role for air
           support (primarily western section of 18 Corps)

            -- A6s hitting tanks and hit whatever marines bypass to protect
           rear
           -- Most B-52 operations rerolled on to Republican Guard because
           of swift allied troop movement
           -- A lot of helicopters out tonight
           -- New ARM Fire Line south of Euphrates River requested no HARM
           -- JSTARS told to survey Marine's rear
           -- Tawaconna Division moving southwest toward VII Corps
           -- Launched F-15Es to fill in gap for F-llls (didn't work out see
