                  S. 24th ID-(Kl- OPORD     Desert Shield 90 FRAGO #74 In effect.

                  b. 24th lDfKl- fired      two small arms/gunnery ranges today!
                       13- 2-18 IN, 197th BDE, 24th IDiMl- fired MK-19-NET, n6D
            MG, M2 MG, and M249 SAW. Range wet 140929C DEC 90, 81 personnel
            fired. Range dry 141708C DEC 90.
                       21 HHC, 197th BDE, 24th ID@MI fired M16A2 zero and
            qualification. Range wet 140929C         DEC 90. 74 personnel fired.
            Range dry 141430C DEC 90.

                  C. K13-3 RCT, I MARDIV, with        TF 3-7, Ist BDE conducted'
            after operations recovery today following last night's advance
            guard mission. K Company Is Involved In an Army/USMC equipment                  all
            orientation. K Company's Commander also participated In the lst
            BDE change of command rehearsal as Well as          'an AAR of last nights
es will be uploaded
            in preparation for their return to 3/3 RCT.

                  d. 2-18 IN, 197th BDE completed day two of NK-19 NET with a
            live fire. Day three will Include a company team exercise
            designed to practice fire control and mosalng fires.

                  a. BRIEFING TOPIC: The AMC Team from Rock Island Arsenaf
            arrived at 3-69 AR at 141240C DEC 90 and were In-briefed by the
            battalion commander. Depleted Uranlum -EDU.1 ponetratore recovered
            from tank rounds blown from the tank were placed bac@ lntthe
            tank. The tank rounds, minus penstrators, will be dikstroyed
            tomorrow. The AMC team will use a senator to wash do               the tank
