          d. Assumptions.
                (1) There Will be sufficient warning to move to and
       occupy FOBs/LABs with organic as well as the OPCON units.
                (2) Equipment availability will be 75% +or aircraft and
       90% for ground ambulances.
                (7,,) Personnel availability will be 90% or better.
                (4) Corps level hospitals will be in position and
       operational at the onset of hostilities.
                (5) Medical units will remain in place to receive
       casualties at the onset of hostilities and will displace on
       order.
                (6) Additional Corps medical support will be provided,
       if required.

       2. MISSION
       326th Medical Battalion provides Level 11 medical Support to the
       101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and all attached or OPCON
       units.


       3. EXECUTION

           a. Commander's intent. Medical success on this battlefield
       hinges upon the rapid collection and evacuation of casualties.
       Only those treatment procedures necessary for stabilization and
       resuscitation will occur at treatment areas forward a+ the F08s.
       My goal is to provide the greatest good +or the greatest number
       rather then definitive care +or only a few. All medical units
       must remain in sector to provide centralized casualty collection
       and evacuation as long as tactically feasible. Corps air and
       ground ambulances must provide evacuation from our facilities to
       allow us to effectively clear the covering force area.
           b. Concept of Operation. Anne), B (Operation ver ay
                (1) Phase 1. Movement to FOBs/LABs. Organic and OPCON
       units will move to and occupy two FOBs (BASTOGNE and OASIS) and
       four LABs (Ist, 2nd, Zrd and 12th BDES) as well as two casualty
       collection points along the passage lines. Establish warm basing
       of FOB A@SHAU.
  (2) Phase II. Support from FOBs/LABs.
                (3) Phase III. Rearward passage of lines and release of
       Corps medical support augmentation to Ist Med Sp for main battle.
                (4) Phase IV. Support from two FOSs (A'SHAU and DAK TO)
       and four LABs (Ist, 2nd, 3rd and 101st BDES).
                (5) Phase V. Prepare for and support future operations.
           C. Headquarters and Support Company.
                (1) Establish and operate Level II medical treatment
       facility in Camp EAGLE II.
                (2) On order provide Surgery squad(s) to FOB A'SHAU.
                (3) Provide additional personnel and equipment to
       nlus up FSMC to 100%.
