          MEMORANDUM FOR SEE DISTRIBUTION

SUBJECT: VII Corps MSC SITREP Issues (U)

          1. (U) The following issues were extracted from the VII Corps
MSC's Daily Commander's SITREP. The issues represent the primary
concerns of the unit Commander. The Corps Commander has directed
the subordinate Commanders to raise concerns and problems via the
          STTREP.
          2. (U) Many issues are Corps-wide problems that staff sections
are currently working to solve. Staff sections should contact
the unit's staff with current progress and information. Keep the
          units informed.

               A. (U) 3AD@
                    (1) 3AD needs transportation support to move over
200 containers from the port to TAA HENRY. (G4)
                    (2) Lack of transportation assets from outside 3AD
prevents unit from sustaining the division in all classes of
          supply. (G4)
                    (3) @Navigation Support: 3AD needs 400 GPS/LORANS
          systems. Could use 600. (G4)
                    (4) Supply. Issue of DCUS: 25000 PAX require
50000 uniforms. CPOGIS: 8500 are needed immediately for
soldiers in port who have used one set by order of the port
commander; and additional 16500 are required to provide Division
soldiers with third set. Total requirement is 25000. (G4, CHEM)

               B. (U) 1AD.
                    (1) @ Ammunition. Division remains short in tow
missiles air defense ammo (Stinger, Chaparal and Vulcan) and
2.75mm rockets for our Apaches. G4

                    (2) Class IX. There has been virtually no
ry critical area. Unit has done all they
can do with initiative and baling wire. Unless Class IX is
forthcoming, unit's combat power will be greatly impacted. (G4)
