          05/14/91.

          5. (U) OBSERVATION: The drills and SOPs developed in SWA proved
          their value.


          6. (U) DISCUSSION: We developed several drills and SOPs in SWA
          which were trained extensively. These included drills on raw
          minl-fields, breaching complex obstacles, employing Flipper, and
          several more. They proved to be very useful. They must be
          practiced frequently due to personnel turnover and downward-
          sloping.learning curves. They will insure success at JRTC (or
          any FTX) and in war.
