          4. (U) TITLE: Dependent Care During Deployment

          5. (U) OBSERVATION: Need for a mechanism to check on the
          guardian care of sale parent children.

          6. (U) DISCUSSION: During our deployment, we had an incident
          where the guardian of a sole parent child did not provide proper
          care for the child. Some means is needed to get the community
          social worker to check on the status a+ the guardian care.

          7. (U) LESSON LEARNED: That a means must be developed to allow
          the rear detachment and/or the community social care activities
          the ability to check an the care of sole parents children by the
          appointed guardian.

          13. (U) RECOMMENDED ACTION: The division develop some kind of
          notification roster to local officials to assist in the check on
          the care of the children left with guardians by parents.
