               b. Exercise dependent care plans during EDRE's by ca    lling
           full scale alerts. Don't allow child care to open early and
           accept the children. This created the false sense of security
           we experienced.

               C. Review the present policy of women soldier assignments
           in the Army and the impact pregnancies have on a unit's combat
           mission capability. Women soldiers are high performers;
           however, pregnancies can greatly impact a unit's combat
           capability. Either assign fewer women to combat divisions , or
           authorize excess soldiers to compensate for inevitable
           pregnancies.

           9. (U) COMMENTS: EDRE's stress and test the deployment system.
           We must allocate more training time and money to load out
           complete units to test the feasibility of present plans.
