           prisoners       chasing them at a full sprint. The engineers withdraw through B

           Company    -and stop near their-,combat trains thinking they are.in C Company.'

           CPT Szabo directs them to position lkm-behind C                       Company's tanks. SSG Mohr,

           realizing -that-.the platoon                is behind B Company, leads the platoon back

           into position.

                 As the Ist Platoon of C Company attempted to pull back into formation,

           they failed to back up-enough. As a result, they are well forward @ the

           task force. when the enemy opens fire. Mortar or airburst artillery hit'

           over lst Platoon and C66, then appears to move back toward thL-.task.force.
