         (U) 244TH MEDICAL GROUP DES@                         ORDER 001

             n.        996th Medical Laboratory (VA).

                  (U) Provide clinical and reference laboratory services to
         the 50th Gen HOS to include biochemistry, microbiology, parasitology,
         entonmology and veterinary.

             o.        467th Medical Detachment (OM).

                  (U) Provide psychiatric services to patients in the AO to
         include mental hygiene, consutations, combat stress control, and
         Inpatient holding and treatment areaas. Emphasis will be on return
         to duty (RTD).

             p.        424th Medical Laboratory (VE).

                  (U) Provide clinical laboratory services to the 50th Gen Hos
         to include immunology and serology.

             r.        Evacuation Policy.

                  (1)       The theater evacuation policy is established as 15
         days for pre-hostilities and 7 days or less in the event of
         hostilities.

                  (2)       Preferred     means of evacuation is by air. MEDEVAC
         primary frequency throughout the AOR is 39.15. Alternate is 40.15.

                  (3)       Strategic and Tactical Aeromedical Evacuation is
         provided by the 1611th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron (Provisional).

             s.       Coordinating Instructions.

                  (1) (U) Reports will be submitted IAW Annex G (Recurring
         Reports) to the staff sections as specified. Medical reports will
         commence at OoOlZ of the first day of unit operations and continue
         until the redeployment phase is completed.

                  (2) (U) Medical care will be provided to EPW as required by
         their state of health until they can be evacuated. Military Police
         Units with area mission responsibility will provide guards for
         hospitalized prisoners of war upon request of the hospital Commander.

      Units located within the AOR will comply with Rear
         Battle directives as published by the 2nd Area Support Battalion,
         301st Area Support Group or the 130th Rear Area Operations Center
         (RAOC).

                  (4) (U) Units      travelling along MSR's will contact the
         nearest MP unit for support in the event of an attack by enemy
         forces.

                  (5) (U) All hospitals will report opening and closing times
         to this headquarters.        92nd Med Bn will report opening and closing
         times of subordinate facilities to this headquarters.
