                (7)  (U)   Unless otherwise directed, units will display the
       Red Cross and Red Crescent (if available).

                (8)  (U)   Direct coordination between medical aviation units
       with Corps/Division (CAME/DAME) is directed.
                (9)  (p)   Units will    take appropriate measures to safeguard
       themselves andx patients from hostile enemy action.

       4. SERVICE SUPPORT:


            a. (u) supply.

                (1)        General Supply.      Local purchase requests will be
       forwarded to this headquarters and routine requests will be forwarded
       to the 2nd ASB.     Class IX will be supported by the 7!5th Maintenance
       Company VIC AL-Eskan Village.

                (2) @ Medical       Supply. Requests for medical supply (class
       VIII)   will  flow   from the lowest to the highest element to the 32nd
       MEDSOM in DHAHRAN until the 145th MEDSOM in RIYADH is established and
       operational.    Units should store no more than 15 days of supply (DOS)
       of Medical    Supplies.    Requisitions will be accepted by any means of
       transmission as     long  as   the  essential   data  (NSN, Unit of issue,
       Quantity, Document Number, and Pr4lority) is provided.

            b. @ Transportation and Movement.            Support will be provided
       by 2nd ASB and 3OlSt ASG in Riyadh..

            c. @ Services.          All  requests  for   services to include Host
       Nation    Labor,    Maintenance,    and service to medical units and
       facilities will     be coordinated through this   headquarters and the 2nd
       ASB/301st ASG in Riyadh.

            d.       Medical Equipment     Maintenance.     32nd MEDSOM provides
th MEDSOM is operational.

       5. Command   and signal.


            a.  (U) Command.

                (1)        244th   Medical    Group TOC initial VIC Al-Eskan
       Village.

                (2)        Alternate C? 336th Med Det        (RA), VIC Al-Eskan
       Village.

            b. (U) Signal.
