           1.    (U) SITUATION. Current INTSUM


           2.    (U) MISSION. No Change

           3.    16) EXECUTION.


                  a. (U) Concept of the   Operation:

                            (1) (U) Medical units within the division will
           provide Health Service Support CHSS) to save the lives of
           soldiers and conserve the fighting strength 1ID(M), attached or
           DS elements and all forces passing through IID(M).

                            (2)  (U)  Insert this FRAGO as Appendix 12
           (MEDICAL OPERATIONS) to Annex N (SERVICE SUPPORT) to IID(M) OPORI)
           SCORPION DANGER.


                  b.       Operational Phases:

                  (1) (U) PHASE 1: Complete

                  (2) tg) PHASE 11: Move and occupy defensive sectors and
           attack position.

                       (a)  (U) Organic medical elements provide medical
           coverage for IID(M) and supporting units during movement to PHASE
           11 positions. Corps air ambulance assets provide on-call air
           evacuation. Corps ground ambulances collocated with division
           medical companies provide evacuation from division to corps
           medical facilities (See Tab A, Corps Medical Task Organization).

                       (b)       Prior to 6 - 8@ 127th Medical Group
           establishes Combat Support Hospitals (CSH); the 128th and 403rd
S630770. Two
           platoons from 142nd Medical Company (Clearing) will co-locate
           with the 12Bth and 403rd CSHS. Two platoons from 209 Medical
           Company (Clearing) will co-locate with 31st and 377th CSHS.
           These clearing companies will triage and stabilize casualties
           evacuated to the CSits by ground or air.
