     12 Jan 1991

          Have question as to whether LTC Lively will stay at ARCENT
     FWD Surgeons office in Dhahran or return to office at Riyadh.
     COL Alm and LTC Lively notified that they now have PCS orders to
     Operation Desert Shield. SFC Hooper of the 483rd is on Emergency
     Leave in the states, LTC Mitchell of the 422nd Med Det has been
     Med-Evaced to Germany and CPT Blair of the 422nd is in the
     hospital. All units have 50% of personnel on guard duty.
          COL Trask went to Log Base Bravo to coordinate movement of
     442nd Med Det next week. All activities moving further forward.
     COL Alm busy writing MEDCOM SOP's and briefings for Commanders
     Conference on Monday.
