              equipment and personnel totals for the beginning of this
              period were as follows: 546,700 soldiers, 4,280 tanks,
              e,880 APCS, and 3,100 artillery pieces.

                   At the end of this period INTSUM 191, dated 30200OZ
              Jan 91, reported the KTO included 116 located brigades: 44
              heavy, 68 infantry, and 6 special purpose forces. The
              number of division headquarters had risen to 40 (31
              committed, 9 reinforcing).

                   The disposition of enemy forces at the beginning of
              this period is shown in diagram 6-P. The disposition of
              enemy forces at the end of this period is shown in diagram
              7-1.
