They then provided support to the surviving crew members
and to the medical treatment and graves registration
soldiers. The 15th FSB Chaplain ministered to the
casualties as they came through the Ambulance Pxchange
Point (AXP) and the Deputy Division Chaplain UMT received
the WIRs at the 148th EVAC Hospital and ministered to the
one WIA who died as well as the remaining survivors and
medical staff. 2nd Bde Chaplain UMTs supported unit
memorial ceremonies.
CONCLUSION
In addition to light/heavy operations, the First Team
gained experience in joint operations by coordinating with
our coalition allies. The lst Cavalry Division was
prepared to execute critical border screen operations.
