           for the M578. Black smoke was pouring out of the engine
           compartment. The column had to keep moving the last mile to its
           next assembly area. Glueck was left behind once again. The
           captain was certain the M578 was finished, but, before he could
           send back help, Glueck drove the limping recovery vehicle into
           the unit assembly area under the last of its own steam. Glueck's
           magic had finally run out. A heavy equipment transport took the
           X578 and its driver back to Assembly Area Huebner. Once a new
           engine's installed, though, the captain knows Glueck and the M578
           won't be far behind.
