                 h.   Problems Requiring Corps Assistance:

                      (1) 588th Engr Bn needs priority fill for chemical
             defense  equipment. They only have I set of BDO'S. They need
             immediate issue.


                          926th Engr Gp needs a multi channel link at Log Base
             Echo. Proposed arrival date is 15 Jan ?I.

                      (3) We are critically short night vision devices for
             combat engineers operating well forward with maneuver units.
             Same is true with LORAN devices. We support combat operations
             with maneuver units but are deficient in NVD and NAV systems.

        '4) Distribution priority is always to CAV and
             Divisions. Request look at task organization. Combat engineers
             operating -Forward with Cav or Division need some priority
             otherwise unbalances team.

                      (5) We need CARC paint ASAP. This is especially
             critical +or combat engineers during breach operations when all
             other forces are painted.
