process would then have to start over again to establish a F,LL.
EOD units were considered "bastard units" and were therefore
glven lower priority than divisional units.
b. Temporary Solutions: Once again EOD units found
themselves operating outside the regular supply channels under
the "good old boy" system. Often this meant that EOD units
operated with substandard maintenance held together with bailing
wire.
C. Permanent Solution: A permanent solution will only
occur when the problem of Command and Control is rectified. Any
other solution can only be a temporary one which will change
from command to command and organization to organization.
