ublished strip maps, and sick call hours which were widely

            disseminated throughout the brigade.
          (U) HOSPITALIZATION: Personnel going on emE?rgc?ncy/sick calls that
were admitted became a problem. The following occurred:

units were not notified of personnel being admitted

                b. units dropped personnel at the hospital and leave them

            causing a transportation problem

                C. units did not report personnel through to the S-1 as

            being idmitted to the hospital

                d. units did not know when soldiers were released from the

            hospital

C?. no communications at 85th Evacuation Hospital

MEDEVAC: Personnel admitted to the hospital that cannot be

treated ire MEDEVACED, however, often times the units irL- not

being notified by the hospitil. We often find out when the

soldier is gone. MEDIVAC personnel cannot be tracked through the

system. When they leave the theater they either go to GE?rmany,

ship, or CONUS. We are not notified of their status and or

location. This created a big problem with notification to the

rear. WE? requested assistance from the ARCENT Surgeon Seneril's

Office but there were no set procedure +or notifying the unit

until the personnel krL- admitted to the disttnce? end. The rear

received messages from the hospitil. Once a soldier leaves this

theater through the medical channels receiving information as to

their wherc?@ibouts/rc?turn to CONUS is almost nonexistence.
