         (U)   During 26 and 27 FEB 91l the TF mission, OPCON to 7th Corps,
          was to secure the eastern portion of the breach vicinity PL Utah     I
          to facilitate the passage of the remaining combat, combat support
          and combat service support elements of the Lst British Division
          and VII Corps. The TF continued to use engineer assets and tank
          mineplaws to collapse and fill in over 1000 enemy bunkers and
          100(+) kilometers of ememy trl-nchline. The -Few enemy troops le-Ft
          alive and Ltncaptured in som@ of the hundreds of bunkers in the
          destroyed Iraqi positions surrendered to task -Force elements.
          Small groups came out of their holes and surrendered. Enemy
          6quipment was captured and destroyed in very large quantities.
          Hundreds of bunkers were destroyed by direct fire or explosives.
          E;,tensive enemy stocks of A)1147s, RPI'%s, RPS-7s, 60mm mortars and
          ammunition, NBC equipment, trucks, scout cars, artillery shells,
          AA guns and a few artillery pieces were captured and destroyed.
          Independent enemy activity in the task force was nonexistent.
         (U   During the 28 FEB 91 task force movement to @ -Safwan area,
          numerous already destroyed enemy vehicles and bunkers were
          bypassed. The equipment encountered included T-55s, T-62s, t-72s,
          231s, 2939, AA guns, trucks, BRDM-2s, BMP-1s, BTRS, MTLBS, and
          numerous trailers and miscellaneous types of equipment.
