         (Upt 251106  the TF was set on  PL New Jers6y. The TF had cleared
         In zone for  141cm, captured an additional 700 EPW's and sustained
         only one casualty from a friendly DPICM. At 2300 the TF became-
         OPCON to VII CORP with the mission to defend in sector.aldng PL
         Utah to prevent enemy direct or observed indirect +ire on the
         breach site.
         (Ulon 26 February as the other units from 2nd Brigade continued to
         'pdsh north TF 2-16 began moving back to PL Utah. The TF continued
         to destroy hundreds of enemy bunkers and trenches as well as
         abandoned equipment. Over the next two days the TF destroyed
         approximately 15 vehicles, artillery pieces, weapons systems, NBC
         equipment, communications equipment and recovered numerous
         documents abandoned by Iraqi soldiers. An additional IOC, EPW's
         were captured as 2 more friendly casualties wer        ceived due to
         friendly DPICM rounds.                             9@
         (UPN 28 February the TF was returned to lst Infantry Division
         control. The TF began movement at 1200 hrs to conduct link-up
         with lst Infantry Division forces in northern I'%Ltwait. The TF
         moved approximately 200 lms and captured an additional 26 EPW's
         before linking up with other 2nd Brigade units in the vicinity of
         Sefwan, Iraq.
         WTlie TF (-) defended in sector oriented south along the
           aq-I"Ltwait border. Tti B assisted in clearing and securing the
         route that was used to escort the Iraqi officials to the negotion
         site. Ttl A assisted in providing security aroun'dittie negotiation
         tent at Ba-Fwan air-Field.
