                  A. AR= ENGINEER

                      1. FOI&DW/MDBILE CP: ACE, XVIII ABN Corps, called asking if
              Flippers, GEMKS, and 90M were in LOGBASE CHARLIE and can we confirm. ACE
              also provided locations of units and daily task organization update. ACE
              VII Corps reported they were not going to build MSR Packard, three graders
              lost tires on MSR due to unexploded ordnance, and reported road status
              with 3AD crossing previously unknown msrs. ARcENr r.3 stated FRAGO #61
              will include attaching an engineer battalion to ist CAV.

                      3. FACILrITES/ODNSn;@'=ON:

                          A) Theater EPW Caups: Both BRONX and BROOKLYN are 98% complete
              and can handle 48,000 EPWs P-adi. BRONX has force main work remaining; EcD
              is 2 Mar. BROOKLYN has some collection, laundry, and sha*x@x, sump work
              remaining and EM is 7 bear. EMs cm use interim slit trenches if
              necessary. Per G2 and DIA, present overall capacity is adequate.

                          B) Corps EPW Canips: Per MA,7 Sarigianj-s, XVIII ABN Corps has
              all materials.    VII Corps is apparently iqmovising for materials; MP
              BDE constructing carp has riot requested materials through ARCERR.

                          C) Pipeline:

                             1) Phase I: Flowing; has too much water. Will use with Fuel
              System Icing Inhibitor.
                             2) Phases II and III are complete.
                             3) Phase IV: British pipe leaking and cannot hold pressure
              required; continuing to pump while laying 15 miles of rigid pipe next to
              lay flat hose. ECD is 5 Mar.
                             3) Phase V is 193KK to LOGBASE AIPHA. 145KM layed, 144KK
              coupled, 88KK aligned, tested and packed. interim ccmpletion date is 1
              Mar. The ships Robert E. Lee, 96Kis and President Polk have arrived; 85
              miles of pipe awaiting on dock for transportation. Pipeline unit does not
              have haul capability at present. Will set up temporary fill station at
              PS#7, 96I
