SUBJECT: After Action Report (Civil Affairs Support)
TEAM: 142nd Field Artillery, VII corps Artillery
1. Mission:
Under the general guidance of the VII Corps G-5, plans
and directs-Clvil Military Operations in the Bd6s area
of operations. Under th@,- direction of the Corps G-5.
Commander. 354th CA BDE coordinates DC Opei7atiort§
within the Corps area to minimize civilian interference
with military- operations and Provide for DC's In
accordance with Ihternational LaW and U.S. policy. In
addition to the above, CA FA teams shall provide
recommended target exclusions to VII Corps artillery
assets during t e conduct of the operation.

On 10FEB91, LTC Meyers briefed the team member's
concerning CA mission@;. During that time. he provided
team membl@@rs a list of equipment to being'and a7 list of
equir ent not on hand. Tea members installed radio 's,
r ck d personal gear, and loaded rations to last for
lve days. on IIFEBOI, all equipment was loaded onto
vehicles and departed @ia Riy;@drf to Hafnir al Batin,
VII Corps rear area of operation. Team members stayed
at Corps level for four days. During that time, team
members trained on processing EPW's and setting up
newly acquired GP small tents. NBC 61asses were -bela
as well ds the daily maintenance of NBC masks, weapons,
