Port of Dammam.
20 October - Bn XO, MAJ Kern, meets with KAJ Roma, DTO I Cav
Div, concerning support needed to move the Division. Bn Xo

according to a priority list is empathized.

to new positions in the desert.
23 October - Bn S3 meets with CPT Blackmon, Ammo Officer,
24th Trans Bn. Off-load of ammunition at the ammunition

within the ASPs and materiel handling equipment are needed
disparately. Bn asked to assess capability of our HETs to
cross a class 60 bridge while carrying a tank. Yes. Can our
HETs cross an Armored vehicle Launched Bridge (AVLB) while
carrying a tank? Answer is probably yes, if the approaches
are firm, and not too steep. Would like to test the concept.
