19 October - Bn continues to clear the I Cav Div from the
           Port of Dammam.

20 October - Bn XO, MAJ Kern, meets with KAJ Roma, DTO I Cav
Div, concerning support needed to move the Division. Bn Xo
meets with MAJ Parquette, S3, 93 Mc Bn. Need to task the Bn
according to a priority list is empathized.

21 October - 355th Trans Det reports for duty as part of the
Battalion. 355th Cdr, KAJ Roll (who is senior), is appointed
as Bn XO. MAJ Kern is appointed as Bn S3.

22 October - Battalion continues moving Ist Cav Div
to new positions in the desert.

23 October - Bn S3 meets with CPT Blackmon, Ammo Officer,
24th Trans Bn. Off-load of ammunition at the ammunition
supply point (ASP) is the biggest problem. Better road nets
within the ASPs and materiel handling equipment are needed
disparately. Bn asked to assess capability of our HETs to
cross a class 60 bridge while carrying a tank. Yes. Can our
HETs cross an Armored vehicle Launched Bridge (AVLB) while
carrying a tank? Answer is probably yes, if the approaches
are firm, and not too steep. Would like to test the concept.

24 October - Ammunition runs to Corps ASP Heiser continue.

25 October - Convoys continue to clear I Cav Div from Dammam.

           26 October - No change.

           27 October - No change.

28 October - Bn Cdr, LTC Vance, briefs Group Cdr, COL Brown,
on the Battalion's mission and capabilities. Emphasized the
           need for additional assets.

           29 October - Ammunition runs a priority.

30 October - Movement of Ist Cav Div completed.

31 October - Ammunition convoys now a priority as armored
           vehicle moves slack off.
