            2 November    Bn XO and S3 attend XVIII Abn Corps
           transportation conference. Weather cooler. Full moon.

            3 November - Bn S3 met with CPT Jeter, S3, 24th Trans Bn,
           concerning maximizing use of flat bed trucks to move
           ammunition. Complained that trucks are not fully loaded.

            4 November - Moved ammunition to USAF at AL Kharj, a nightly
           mission. Bn S3 met with 24th ammo personnel. Emphasized
           need to load trucks to the max. Reduced loads are being
           required by ARCENT ammo safety personnel to decrease chance
           of a blowout of a tire causing an accident.

            5 November - Bn provides IIETs to move M6OA3 tanks for USAF
           Explosive ordinance Disposal (EOD) units. Bn S3 meets with
           CPT Keaton, 7th Trans Gp, to plan MI tank exchange. in the
           evening Bn Cdr, LTC Vance, meets with all Bn officers. Cdr's
           remarks concern the following: Think War, priorities,
           training for survival in war, use the chain of command,
           follow standard decision making processes, the importance of
           a sense of urgency, team work, controlling unhealthy
           competition between the companies, emphasizing improving
           troop morale and discipline.

            6 November - Continued moving bombs to Al Kharj.

            7 November - No change.

            8 November - No change.

            9 November - LTC Vance to a soldier's excuse that it was too
           dark to inspect the tires on an ammunition truck, "Too dark!
           Ray Charles (a blind musician) could see that tire was no
           good!"

           10 November - 702nd Trans Battalion (Provisional) (WATMCT),
           355th CSD, 385th Trans Det and 390th CSD Assigned to 7th
           Transportation Group-Dhahran (Provisional) under the
           authority of Orders 11-12, Headquarters, U.S. Army Forces
           Central Command, Support Command (Provisional), dated 12
           November 1990. Bn Cdr, S2, ILT Blake, and S3 attended
           meeting on MI exchange at Group. Discussed were
           modifications to MIAI tanks, installation of counter mine
