           9 December - 702 FRAGO 05-90; Mission: Commit trucks to
           transport Class V to theatre ASP. Support other resupply
           missions on order.

           702 FRAGO 06-90; Missiont Commit trucks to transport armored
           vehicles and heavy equipment throughout the theatre.
           Ammunition resupply, and other missions will be supported on
           order.

           10 December - Convoy operations continue.

           11 December - Bn XO, MAJ Roll, and A Co Cdr, CPT Bryant,
           visit Bn IIQ, Ad Dammam. XO conducts staff meeting. Returns
           to Al Jubayl with CPT Bryant in the PM. Forty-five (45) HETs
           deployed to Al Jubayl to support movement of 2nd Armored
           Cavalry Regiment (2 ACR). Intervention of Saudi authorities
           limits weight of ammunition which can be transported on flat
           bed trucks. 1404th Trans Co (LM), ARNG, is mobilized at
           Showlow, Arizona.

           12 December - Battalion commander visits Battalion Forward,
           Al Jubayl. Fire breaks out in barracks for female soldiers
           in Jubayl. Cause of the fire is a faulty electric heater.
           No one is injured, but the building is a total loss. Many
           soldiers loose all their possessions, and must be re-
           equipped. Two of the soldiers are from our unit. They are
           able to save only their weapons and protective masks.
           Battalion assets are reduced when a HET trailer breaks in
           half under the weight of an MIAI tank.

           13 December - 702 FRAGO 07-90; Mission: Commit empty tractor
           trailers, and tractors to provide a recovery capability for
           unit convoys.

           Battalion S3 attends Group S3 meeting. Ten (10) more HETs
           deployed to Al Jubayl to move VII Corps assets.

           14 December - 702 FRAGO 08-90; mission: Convoy escort
           requirements.

           Bn S3 meets with Gp Cdr, COL Brown, concerning disposition of
           Bn assets between Ad Dammam and Al Jubayl. Weather:
           clear, cool.

           15 December - Bn S3, KAJ Kern and Ops NCO, SGT DeLaughter,
           leave on recon of southern route through Riyadh to KKMC. Bn
           trucks observed moving MlAl Abrams tanks, and M2/M3 Bradley
           series vehicles. Plan to return via northern route. Bn XO,
           MAJ Roll, visits from Jubayl. Meets with CO, 1,TC Vance, and
           Bn staff. Bn strength: 56 soldiers. Assets available:
