for SWA theatre. CPT Pabon, 7th Trans Gp, continues planning
for theatre ammunition retrograde support by the Bn.

3 July - D Co reports the death of a Thai national, a Host
Nation driver, in the motor park. Apparently the man may
have been murdered. Civil police are called, and are
conducting an investigation. Military Police and CID are
informed. Second increment of the 1103rd advance party
          arrives at Dhahran.

employees of the Arabian American Oil Company (ARAMCO) is
held at the barge for 7th Gp soldiers. Presence of American
families, and particularly children, is wonderful! These
people are real heros. They have been going to camps and
bivouacs since August, putting on shows and barbecues, and
doing their best to cheer up the troops. Most of them were
          here throughout the war.

5 July - Dammam police continue to search for the suspected
          murderer.

6 July - ARCENT SUPCOM OPLAN 91- ; Theater Retrograde

transportation support. Bn is required to provide escort for
          all ammunition convoys.

The proposed transportation truck group will include the
702 and 1103 Trans Bns. An Egyptian Army HET Bn will be part
of the organization in an OPCON status. The new 800 flatbed
truck contract with Al Ziab takes effect today. The schedule
of delivery will be 200 trucks in the first week, followed by
an additional 200 every 7 days. This with the 200 truck Al
