vicinity. Bradleys are sent to investigate. The vehicle
leaves the area and contact is lost.
2137: Informed by division that there is a high
probability of an unconventional attack by Iraqi forces
during the night or early morning.

Priorities of work for the defense continue. A/8
Engineers continues to construct survivability positions
for fighting vehicles. TF 2-5 begins to rotate units from
defensive positions to a reserve/traininn area.

Priorities of work continue.

0212: Informed by DTAC of unconfirmed reports of
an Iraqi tank attack in the town of Ruqi.
1837: Informed by DTAC of three columns of Iraqi
armor moving south to southwest vic PT700450.

an Iraqi attack during the night.

i330t TF 3-32, the brigade's left flank element,
conducts coordination with 1-4 Cav, the divisional cavalry
squadron of the IID.
01 Feb
1555: Informed by DTAC that Saudi Border Guards
are withdrawing from the border and will move through
sector.
02 Feb
1005: The brigade is issued four Modular Thermal
Imaging Systems at the DREAR.
LPOO: TF 3-32 conducts reconnaissance of counter-
attack routes in the 2d Bde sector.
03 Feb
I'815: Division prohibits radars from operating.
This requirement was based on the destruction of a
friendly radar system by an anti-radar missile.
04 Feb
0853: TF 3-32 conducts recon of counterattack
routes.
