               west grid lines. TF 2-8 in the south between the 40 to 44
               east-west grid lines.
                         1635: The brigade resumes movement.
                         1735: TF 3-32 closes on PL STROHS.
                         1736: TF 2-8 closes on PL STROHS.
                         1800: The Bde CDR delivers a verbal FRAGO to all
               Bn CDRS.  The brigade will be prepared to attack at 280600.
               The exact time will be determined based on when the 1AD
               can break contact to our front and allow the Ist Cav to
               pass through to the east.
                         1856: The TOC security platoon captures five
                               EPWS.
                         1657: Units of the brigade establish hasty
               defense and await orders to continue the attack through
               the IRD.
                         1930: The IAD CDR reports on the FM net that he
               is having difficulty breaking contact with the enemy. He
               will attack in the morning 280630 and attempt to move to
               the south by 1000 hours.

                     28 Feb
                         0042: DTAC briefs via FM radio that a temporary
               cease-fire may go into effect at 0500 hours local.
                         0252: Notified by DTAC that FRAGO 91-41 is ready
               for pickup. The LNO is dispatched to receive the order.
                         0336- Instructed by the DTAC that the temporary
               cease-fire is effective at 0500 hours local. Units will
               establish a hasty defense and will initiate no offensive
               operations.
                         0530. Instructed by the DTAC that the cease-fire
               is not effective until 0800 local. Units will prepare to
               resume offensive operations until the cease-fire is in
               effect.
                         0600: The Bde CDR delivers a verbal FRAGO to unit
               commanders. The cease-fire will not go into effect until
               280800 hours local. The brigade will prepare to attack on
              .order. No chanc3e to the scheme of maneuver. The attack
               will be on order based on the actions of the 1AD.
                         0748: The brigade stands down from readiness to
               resume offensive operations. Units continue to conduct
               hasty defense in sector.

               7. Phase Five: Cease-fire Operations

                   a. Phase Five began with the temporary cease-fire
               declaration of 28 February. The brigade began the phase,
               occupying hasty defenses from the march. The phase ends on
