               ISSUE:, FOX (NBCIIS) PMCS
               DISCUSSION:  Nothing in a desert  e
                                                  nvirorment beats a good PMCS
  when maintenance is concerned. Sand and clirt will quickly bring   all
  functional equipment to an inoperable status.
               RECOMMENDATION: Demand  that everyone ''in the platoon performsa
  proper PMCS  of their area of responsibility on the FOX (NBCRS) daily. Clean
  engine air fi-@ters and scrutinize fluid levels when it comes to the engine.
  This is key. Use the clean as you go method.for the rest of the vehicle to
  ensure that dirt and sand  do not.mecke your vehicle fall behind the
  operational power curve.   A fully functional FOX (NBCRS) goes hand in hand
  with survival.
