(a) Deploying unit parent headquarters coordinate the
issue of prescription sunglasses/chemical inserts with 7th
MEDCOM.
(b) Personnel should deploy with a minimum of 2 months
of prescription medication. Unit will ensure that a duplicate
panorex X-ray is an file with home station dental records.
(r-) All units should deploy with the -following
preventive medicine protective items: insect repellant (DEET),
Visine, chapstict-, hot, sunscreen prep gL-1, Desenex foot powder,
iodine tablets.
(d) All unit% ensure that units have had their soldiers
have had the proper immunizations prior to deployment.
(6) Personnel.
(1) Predeployment Processing.
(a) C-eployability Criteria. Deployment criteria for
Desert Shield is contained in the following:

Plans (FCP) will be implemented -For those individuals alerted for
deployment.
(7) Personnel will have in their possession valid
ID card, two ID ta-,s with metal chain necklace, and shot record.
(El) Personnel will have reviewed and updated DD
Form 9-3, Record of Emergency Data and SGLI.
