            APPENDIX I   (Water Treatment)  to ANNEX  L (Field Sanitation) to
            507th Med  Co (AA)  FSOP

                            4. take a-reiading  (if the  water color is
                               lighter than the color    band, add more
                               chlorine; if the water    color is the same   as
                               or darker than the color band, residual is
                               met)
                            5. wait 20 minutes, retest, then retreat if
                               needed.
                   (5) -@400 GALLON WATER TRAILER:
                       (a)  Add 30 ampules or 5 tablespoons of calcium
                            hypochlorite to a +611 canteen cup
                       (b)  Pour 'the solution into the water pod and stir
                       -(c) FlLt@sh the spigots
                       (d)  Wait 10 minutes, then   check the chlorine
                            residue
                       (e)  Wait an  additional 20  minutes, retest,   then
                            retreat  if needed
