                    dedication and truly outstanding %mrk all dental personnel are doing
                    Southwzt Asia.

                        Tne traditional anniversary ball in VbE@,.3.ng-.on .w cw=lled and in
                    its place w held three meetings on rxiday, I mu-ch. 71wy %,P-m for all
                    dental personnel and spouses at Ft Belvoir "r'NwIAC, 1-@--tp-r Feed (DL%CAC,
                    ADL, USAMR) and Ft Fjeade DL-.IM. Elaine and 1, and COL Jin Fay and
                    Diane, visited each site. I ad(L-essed each group w,.th a su7rary of
                    information on hcw our 160 Dental Officers and over 200 NCOs and
                    Enlisted Soldiers Care deployed in Saudi Arabia. I passed around a book
                    of pictures from you and read excerpts fran many letters. I sw)g your
                    praises frcrn information received from your dental leaders, medical
                    leaders and line oa@rwclp--s. You all are doing a t--4y cutstarding job
                    under very diffictat and dw)gerous conditions. You rake us p-oud.'

                         The liA tem@m have deployed and while our total number is less than
                    doctrine, you have risen to the task. Support for the 18th AR4 Corps
                    by LTC Leeds and the 257th 1-596 Det (FA) and VII Corps by COL Burecn
                    and the 87th Med Det (HA) has been sunrb. The EAC s7apport by OOL Art
                    C:ogler " the 122nd Med (Hh) " COL Dan Pru&,a a.-4 the 123rd Fied Det
                    OiA) has been fantastic under the oxtond and control of ODL Jerry.

                    risen to the occasion and excelled. COL Fred Payne, CERIO@M Dental

                    information on the out-staraing efforts of the mny or&l virgrx= who
                    deployed on short notice. Ihey are a credit to both the Dental Corps
                    WA Vv hospitals they sexvim.

                         info=ation continues to roll in on the great job being done by
                    NoOs and enlisted and general denta.1 officers in divisims, hospitals
