         1. Jose DelRosario, the information you requested:

          A. WHAT IS THE STATUS OF THE CLEM UP IN THE NORTH COMPOUND?
             1. The Contractor BOD TeamL has been clearing the site from the
                 North to the South. They are presently clearing around the
                 Armored Vehicle Landing Bridges (AVLB) located at the site's
                 Southernmost wall (the southern wall of the North compound).

          B. HAS THE CONTRACTOR BEGUN/COMPLETED THE WORK?
             1. The Contractor EOD Team is scheduled to complete the
                 clearinvclean up by 15 November 1991 and they are
                 on schedule.

          C. HAS ANYONE TAIMN RADIATION MEASUREMENTS SINCE STEVE HORN LEFT?
             1.  ASB Ltc Smith reports that the contractor EOD Team takes
                 radiation measurements on each piece of equipment that is
                 pulled from the site. Also, the Contractor EOD Team removes
                 and disposes of any areas of contamination found on the
                 pieces of equipment that were pulled from the site.
          D. Do  THEY WANT STEVE HORN (AN INDEPENDENT SOURCE-TO DO THE TESTING?
             1.  ASB Ltc Smith is satisfied with the Contractor EOD Team's
                 radiation measuring/handling capability and states that he
                 does not require further testing.

         2. General information:
            A.   Tacom and Amccom are in the process of coding the site's
                 equipment and obtaining disposition instructions from their
                 respective commands.
            B.   Area Support Battalion (ASB) Ltc Sxith is disposing the site
                 equipment IAW the MSC's direction. The majority of the-
                 equipment is being demilitarized and is destined for ?DO.
