CINCCENT subsequently directed the amphibious platforms to be fiffly aug-
mented with medical staff by 15 January. This was accomplished in phases. The
@t group embarked with the ATF. The second group remained ashore in Bnhrain
until required. The phased approach to staffmg was not tested by an actual am-
phibious assault, suggesting that the doctrine and concepts associated with CRTS
s experience in Desert Shield/Storm.
