                       2. Place the victim on his stomach with him hands under
                       him chin, head tilted slightly to one side.

                       3. Stand in front of the victim, looking towards his
                       feet. (DO NOT PUT YOUR KNEES ON THE GROUND, YOU WILL-
                       CONTAMINATE YOUR CLOTHING.)

                       4. Place your hands on the center of his back Just even
                       with the armpits, your fingers pointing outward and your
                       thumbs running down his spine.

                       5.  Push straight down on the victims back, then grasp
                       the victim by the elbows and pull upwards on the arms.

                       6.  Do steps 4 and 5 at a rate of about 10 to 15 times
                       per minute.

                       7.  Continue artificial respirations until successful or
                       as long as the situation permits.
