 scarce due to limited production facilities.

     b.  (S)  Chemonronhylaxis.       The (1.S. is issuing its troops

 ciprofloxacin as a preventive measure.      The British are using

 doxycyclino as their choice.       The Saudis have selected

 tetracycline and have ordered 4,000,000 tablets.      It is their

 plan to supply the Arab~Islamic Forces.

     C.  (S)  Diagnosis.     All understand which biological agents

 are of concern and hov to diagnose and treat each.      The U.S.,

 British and other coalition forces will be utilizing *1SNART'~ kits

 to aid in diagnosis.

     d.  (~)  Treatment.     (S)    I've not been approached directly

 by any country to Provide Support of any kind relative to

 biological or chelical defense, other than educational

 presentations.  The Defense Attache Office at the U.S      Embassy in

 fliyadh called me a few weeks ago giving me a heads up that the

 Norrocans light make a formal request for assistance, but as yet

 they have not.  There is an indication that Egypt might make a

 similar request (message from U.S       Embassy Cairo to Secretary of

 State - 110543Z JAN Si).
