- Host nation support is utilized when circumstances require.

  All allied countrie~ in the area have been very cooperative.


- Presently.  there are over 2000 U.S. military hospital beds

  available in theater.

  -- Staffed by highly qualified personnel, state of the art

     equipment and wide range of specialty care.

  -- Included in the deployed assets are two large hospital ships

     - essentially floating medical centeps.


- In short,  the health of the command is rated as excellent.  A

  qualified medical infrastructure is dedicated to ensuring that

  it remains as such.
