Maps issued in SWA may be too large of scale or lacking in
sufficient detail to consistently rely on.

LESSON(S)  LEARNED:

Whenever possible, a thorough reconnaissance of march routes
should be conducted in order to avoid unfavorable terrain.
Proper route selection and reconnaissance may prevent untimely
delays or breakdowns, particularly of large scale movements.
