TOPIC:  `Maintenance Technigues

DISCUSSION:

Avoiding dust and sand in field maintenance is difficult to
impossible.   Windblown dust adheres to grease on disassembled
components resulting in contamination.

LESSON(S)  LEARNED:

In order to reduce contamination, each component should be
wrapped in a rag or plastic as it is disassembled.  Also,
lubricants and greases should be in small containers which will
be consumed quickly.
