COMBAT SERVtCE SUPPORT - S
TOPIC: Lubrication of Weapons
DISCUSSION:
Conventional lubricants attract more dust and dirt than would
accumulate if the weapon were left dry.
LESSON(S) LEARNED:
While in storage, weapons should be lubricated according to
standard. When weapons are in use, they should be relatively
dry. Protective covers should be used to prevent sand and dust
from entering the breech, muzzle, and operating parts.
