             On 26 February a logistics transfer point, CSSA-3, was

             established near AL JABER Airfield in Kuwait (see supporting

             documents). This transfer point consisted of a small DSC

             detachment with those items needed to sustain the attack.


             While capable o'f limited medical support, maintenance, and

             salvage the PO@VE was to ensure forward momentum of the

             Divisions. A three day s+@ockage level of Class I, III (p) and

             one DOA of Class V was maintained. 300k gallons of water and

             600k gallons of fuel -ounded out the capability.


             In light of the rapid seizure o@ the MEF's objectives and

             ultimate cease fire, the transfer point was turned over to

             DSO-2 on 3 Ma-ch 1991.



             During the remainder of *this period the DSC provided CSS to the

             Divisions in KUWAIT, supported the retrograde of the Ist MA.RDIV

             back to Saudi Arabia, and commenced retrograde o* Class V to

             ASP-3 (AL ?fISHAB).
